Tatneft implements a strategy for sustainable development and integrates all key aspects in this area in its activities

The Company considers 2018 to be a landmark year in shaping long-term prospects based on its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Global Compact and key international initiatives aimed at achieving significant progress in solving global economic, social and environmental problems by 2030.

United Nations data show a strong relationship between energy use and sustainable development in general, an increase in the standard of living of the world’s population, and the solution of socio-economic and environmental problems. 

The Company shares the global concern for sustainable development, as well as the need for increasing energy demand to achieve and maintain a good quality of life, and seeks to contribute to the development of innovative environmentally friendly energy infrastructure, as well as to the expansion of socio-economic opportunities, as a result of the Company’s effective activities.
