Tatneft makes a large-scale contribution to ensuring favorable conditions and quality of life in the territories of its core business.
The Company provides significant amounts of tax revenue to the budget, being one of the largest taxpayers in the region of core business. Total accrued taxes, payments and fees of PJSC TATNEFT amounted to 475 billion rubles in 2018, including 57.7 billion ruble payment to the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan.
A high level of tax deductions is a social contribution to the development of the regions where the Company operates.
The company in the framework of voluntary initiatives annually allocates more than 22.5 billion rubles to social programs. The most significant funds are allocated for the development of social infrastructure — the development of healthcare, science and education, the cultural environment, the preservation of spiritual heritage, support for sports, including the Ak Bars hockey club, as well as within the framework of the Tatneft Charity Fund.
Forming social programs, the Company takes into account the social priorities of state policy — the Concept of long-term socio-economic development of the Russian Federation and the Strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan. A number of programs interact with national projects.
