The Company operates a unified corporate system of personnel training, education and personal growth aimed at developing professional and managerial competencies of employees, as well as forming an employee pool in accordance with the business objectives. The development
and training of personnel covers all business areas and categories of personnel, is carried out in accordance with the approved plan, taking into account the requests of heads of functional areas. The best Russian and foreign practices are applied, methods for assessing the competencies of employees are being improved.
Training and professional development of personnel is carried out on the basis of the Corporate University and the Training Center of the Company. Joint programs are being implemented with specialized universities and educational institutions. The Company opens specialized departments in educational institutions and organizes internships for students at its enterprises on industry topics.

The training programs of the Corporate University are aimed at developing professional knowledge and practical experience, developing the skills of effective work of employees. Teachers of leading universities, reputable training and consulting companies are engaged for the training.

- «Improving the maintenance of technological equipment for gas and liquid hydrocarbon production through the application of RBI, RCM and FMEA techniques. Maintenance and repair management of equipment based on 1C TOiR (maintenance, repair and operation) for a modern fuel and energy complex enterprise.» 76 people had upgraded their qualification.
- «Construction control and quality management in construction (new requirements, problematic issues).» 46 people passed advanced training.
- «Modern completion methods. Intelligent wells. Horizontal wells.» 21 people passed advanced training.
- «Basics of blockchain technology for business.» 97 people were trained.
Industrial safety Standards and Rules
The following corporate seminars were held:
- «New issues in legislation. Problematic issues and ways to solve them during the construction, reconstruction, technical re-equipment of objects supervised by Rostekhnadzor».
- «Changes in environmental legislation. State registration of facilities having a negative impact on the environment. Declaration of payment for negative environmental impact.»
- «Actual issues on organization and holding state examination of design documentation and results of engineering surveys of oil and gas production facilities, analysis of changes in legislation and regulatory documents, analysis of typical errors.»
- «New requirements to the content of the Industrial Environmental Control Program».
About 300 people attended the seminars.
Protection of personal data
The following training programs were organized for the employees of the Company:
- «Fulfillment of legal requirements in the field of protection of personal data»
- «Requirements for the storage and processing of personal data, as well as the responsibility of personal data operators for non-compliance with such requirements»
- «Organization of information protection when working with personal data» and «Ensuring the security of personal data while being processed in the personal data information systems»
As part of these programs 500+ people had been trained within these programs.
Lean Trainer modular training program
The program was organized with the aim of training specialists who are able to give advice and conduct internal training for employees of the structural divisions and subsidiaries of the Company on process and project management, apply lean manufacturing methods and tools and have the ability to coordinate the work of the improvement project teams.
Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute
The Company is implementing targeted master’s programs in the areas of «Oil and Gas Business» and «Economics»:
- Modeling and management of hydrocarbon field development;
- Hydraulic fracturing;
- Innovative oil and gas subsoil use;
- HR analytics (the first master’s program in the Russian Federation).
Each of the undergraduates is assigned a mentor in charge of his/her work, who provides consulting for preparation of a graduation thesis.
Employees Training Center
The Company’s Training Center provides
training, retraining and professional development for workers in the oil and refining industries, construction, transport, as well as in a number of related industries, including training of managers and specialists in industrial,
energy, radiation safety and labor protection. The Center is well-equipped to practice students' practical skills: it has training grounds, laboratories for chemical analysis and physical and mechanical tests, and various workshops.

training programs are developed taking into account professional standards approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.

Development of a culture of self-learning organization
Large-scale work is underway to introduce a culture of self-learning organization. Currently, 33,000 users, more than 30 courses, 40 tests, and over 120 webinars have been registered in Mirapolis — virtual Single Platform for Employee Training and Development of TATNEFT Group. The My book electronic corporate library has 1,200 registered users. In 2019, it is planned to implement the project of the Development of E-Learning System in TATNEFT Group, which will allow employees to study remotely.
